Abstract
During the Second World War, many individuals from Lincolnshire either volunteered or were mobilised as part of the war effort. Each individual who served had their own unique geographical footprint. As a result of the war, some individuals travelled abroad for the first time. In this article, the global footprint of Cyril Dudley Anderson, which has been reconstructed from his personal diaries and official war diaries, will be examined.
